Cosplay that I love

I love cosplay and costuming. I do . I am fascinated with it. I have yet to create one really great cosutme and I am hoping that this year is my year. So before I get started on costumes i wanted to take a look at some of the best ones i have found:
First let's look at my favorite pirate, The Scarlett Harlott. She is an epic cosplayer of pirate, pinup, mermaid, and renfest fashion. Her costumes are all designed by her and they are amazing. I would love to be on her level someday.

Next is Tiffany from free radish designs , she not only makes her own costumes but she really envelopes her characters.

And now some random cosplays that I just love. I found all of these via google.

Female Ghostbusters rock!

Great Soul eater cosplay:

Everything I love in one cosplay group, zombies+disney= epic:

Super cute fairy cosplay, Twig the fairy:

I love everything about this one:
Twi'lek are awesome:

Simply stunning lady joker costume, it is so difficult to find pretty curvy cosplay and she pulls it off flawlessly:
Amazing steampunk strawberry shortcake. I wish that I could sew like this:

Amazing Alyss Heart from The looking glass wars by Kell Kelldar:

All of the cosplayers here are an inspiration and I would love to get to their level.

A magical gluten free journey on the disney wonder

I have taken forever to post this because I had to wrap my head around the sheer awesomeness of this trip. I have never felt so special or pampered before. The Disney cruise line is not just good it is splendeforous, magical and well just full of fairy dust.

On the trip there we stopped in Gainesville to visit Dream Day Cakes. Where I got a special gluten free treat:

Pretty Gluten free yummy cupcakes!

Before we started our Disney voyage we spent a day at Port Canaveral, Cocoa, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach.

We stopped at Murdock's in Cocoa for dinner:I would not recommend Murdock's. They were not at all gluten free friendly. The food was sub par and the music was really loud.

Even though it wasn't great, we still had fun:

We hung out in a cool magic shop then headed to our hotel room for the night.

We woke up bright and early, we were just too excited about our trip that day! A stop at IHOP was in order:
IHOP has some gluten free options, so it works for us. Plus Lil is a hashbrown fanatic!

So now we had like four hours to kill before time to board the ship. We spent it walking around Cocoa, playing at the playground and walking along the pier. Finally we made our way to the ship! It was time to board and see my Mom and Brother Kameron.

We pulled up and I seriously screamed with happiness when I saw this:
So we made our way to the boarding area:
Lil had the best seat.
I loved all of the Disney Details, the Amazing customer service started as soon as we stepped into the check-in line and didn't stop until our trip ended and we drove away. We entered the ship through this giant mickey! So cool. I was crying at this point. Lil was getting excited too.
We entered and stopped to get our pictures taken here:
The Captain and crew were waiting to welcome us on board by announcing our family and cheering. Lil loved the clapping.
When we enter the ship we saw the beautiful entryway :
Now insider tip , they directed us to the beach blanket buffet on the upper deck, but that is where they direct everyone so the wait is like an hour long. Instead we went to the buffet at parrot cay where there was no wait and we were seated immediately. The staff was amazing, and the food was great! There were tons of gluten free options.

There was sooooooooooo much shrimp! Mmmm....

The sunday bar rocked socks (totally gluten free)

The fresh strawberry mint soup was a lovely palate cleanser and gluten free
The bread table was obviously not gluten free but it was cute so I took a picture:

P was enjoying the food and his sunglasses

There were so many great food options for Lil and she loved blowing bubbles in her cup.

After a filling lunch we headed towards our room, on the way we stopped to admire the view: When we made it to the room we found a nice surprise. P had gotten Kam a cool birthday set so the room was decorated and there was a birthday cake. In addition he got all of us Halloween gift baskets, so cool:

Then we checked out the navigator to see what cool things we could do that day:

Then we all unpacked and chilled in the room for a bit:
Then we had to go to the muster drill, which was the only part of the trip that I did not like, bleh. But after the muster we got to walk around the ship and check it out:

After our adventure we headed back to the room to get ready for dinner, we watched the live show in our room which was great for Lil. Our first night dinner was at Triton's, it looks amazing and the food is great. First we got to meet our wait staff. Dinesh was our waiter and he was a doll. He understood my gluten intolerance and he provided so many options. When i sat down I was greeted with a basket of yummy gluten free rolls. I was told what would be gluten free on the menu and given the menu for the next night t pick anything from. They made all of my meals gluten free and it was wonderful.

Dinesh:
Lil's dinner:
My appetizer , escargot. So good:
Kid's Menu:

Triton's menu:I ordered the Duck and it was cooked to perfection, the potatoes with it had bacon in them so i didn't eat them. For Dessert I got the Creme brulee, it was amazing:

After dinner we went back to the room and hung out, we left the door to our veranda open and listened to the waves as we slept , it was blissful. The next morning we docked at Nassau, Mom and I went shopping while P hung out with Kam and Lil.
We went to the straw market and left quickly, it was too crowded and there were just too many knock off purses, not enough handmade stuff.

Then we hopped on the bus to head over to the fish fry the fish fry is where the locals eat. Unfortunately we were supposed to get on the number 10 bus and we gt on the 10a bus. But after an interesting tour of the city we found the right bus and got to the fish fry.

KfC in the Bahamas, so out of place: My mom on the first bus:

When we got to the fish fry we chose our restaurant and headed in. I got a large meal of scorched conch, red beans and rice and Sky juice, it was divine and completely GLUTEN FREE!

Our awesome waitress:
Mom at the fish fry:

Then it was time to head back to the ship and get ready for the pirate party! First stop Animator's palate for our pirate dinner:
My drink, true colors:
The Cool dining room:

Dinesh in his cool vest after the show:
My dinner was the most amazing mushroom risotto, OMG! GF of course: And Dinesh surprised me with a GF chocolate cake, Mmmmmm:

After an amazing dinner we went to the pirate party on deck:
First our awesome cruise was taken over by none other then the coolest pirate , Captain Hook:
We were scared and excited:
Thank Goodness Mickey flew in to save the day!: Mickey got Captain Hook to chill out and then he started "the party in the sky" ie the fireworks:

After that we had a huge dance party , we boogied until we were exhausted:
And we woke up to this view of Castaway Cay:

It was time for breakfast and then island fun:

We spent the day hanging out on the beach, snorkeling (pictures coming), and eating some more amazing food on the island. It was fantastic and we were exhausted at the end, I didn't get anymore pictures of our trip. We had another wonderful dinner and the morning was great , we were sad to say goodbye to everyone. But it is great to know that we will be back.
We loved it so much that we booked another cruise in October.
