Getting started is the hardest part, or so I keep telling myself. My husband (p) daughter (lil) and I are embarking on an amazing journey unlike anything we have ever done. Well we are in a year or so anyway. After much discussion about what we want in life and our own disdain for the America Dream that had been thrust upon us ,we have realized that this is not the life we want. We were able to attain that simple dream early enough in life that now we are on the what next path. Well here is what's next for the land pirates. We are selling, donating, and destroying our belongings. We are casting off this weighty anchor (i.e. house) and we are setting sale in our Landship (rv).
Do we have a destination in mind?No. We simply wish to live a life full of experiences. We want to focus on our family and the joy we get from experiencing new things with our amazing Lil. Does this make us odd? Perhaps, but I will be shocked if we don't become better people from the experience. Currently I am getting started by cleaning , and getting things prepared to sale. The first stop for this part of our journey is the Just between friends sale where I will try to part with everything from Lil's infancy. A huge task for someone who is so emotionally vested in these simple material things.
